Training Band
Our training band is very important to us as this is the future of Banovallum Brass. We regularly have over 20 players at our rehearsals, ranging from 8 years old upwards. Some are learners, some are returning to playing and some are members of the Senior Band who kindly come along to support the Training Band. We have a real family feel to the group and welcome players of all standards so if you have recently taken up a brass instrument or would like to get back into playing, come and give us a go! Rehearsals are held on Sundays at West Ashby Village Hall (LN9 5PT), 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm. Please contact Rachel to confirm rehearsal is being held as we tend to stick to term time. We play a wide variety of music from Gershwin to Queen, Beatles to Colonel Bogey and as well as joining the Seniors in their concerts, have our own engagements throughout the year.
Our training band is available to perform at events eg garden fetes, concerts and ask only a small fee to enable us to buy a new piece of music.
